National Council

The Canadian Council of Child and Youth Advocates (CCCYA) is an association of children’s advocates from across Canada who have mandates to advance children and youth rights, and to promote their voices. Through Council, advocates identify areas of mutual concern, share best practice, information and resources, facilitate joint learning opportunities for staff in all jurisdictions, and work to develop ways to address issues at a national level. As a small jurisdiction, Newfoundland and Labrador benefits greatly from Council’s network and resources.
